This PART-TIME HOURLY ENTRY LEVEL position is responsible for reviewing job applications, conducting initial outreach to candidates, completing pre-employment verifications, and maintaining accurate and organized documentation. This is a part-time position.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with applicants. Success in this role requires the ability to follow established processes consistently, ensure compliance, and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Review and pre-screen employment applications to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with position requirements
Conduct initial phone outreach to applicants to gather additional information, clarify experience, and evaluate overall fit
Coordinate and complete pre-employment verifications, including reference checks and background documentation
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date candidate records within HRIS
Communicate professionally and consistently with hiring managers regarding candidate status and next steps
Assist with clerical and administrative HR tasks as needed
Qualifications & Program InformationWhat you need:
A High School diploma or GED with 2 years related expereince or equivalent is required for this position. An Associate’s degree in a Human Resources, Business, Accounting or related field of study and two years of relevant work experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
· Ability to evaluate information thoughtfully and apply consistent standards
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
· Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with applicants in a professional manner
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, organized, and deadline-driven environment
