The Human Resources Student Worker provides administrative and operational support to the HR department. This role offers a valuable opportunity for students interested in learning about HR practices within a professional setting. The student worker will contribute to day-to-day tasks, assist with special projects, and gain hands-on experience in various areas of human resources, including employment, onboarding, compliance and HR policy implementation.
Perform clerical duties such as scanning, filing, and data entry
Maintenance of HR software and databases
Support ongoing HR projects
Shadow HR team members to learn about HR operations and individual roles
Provide general administrative support to HR staff as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
Preference given to students pursuing a major in Business or related fields
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills appropriate for an office environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
of Hours: Students will be scheduled during the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm, based on student's needs.
