Star Lumber & Supply is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to partner with leaders across several of our most active business divisions. This is a strategic HR role for someone who enjoys coaching leaders, solving employee relations challenges, developing talent, and helping create a high-performing culture.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with business leaders to achieve operational and people goals
• Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development
• Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts
• Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Analyze workforce metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Operations and Safety to support a safe, productive workplace

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience supporting manufacturing, construction, distribution, or industrial operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Experience designing and delivering leadership development training
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel up to 10%
