Mater Human Resources is excited to be recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing team at an exciting time for our organisation. With the opening of a brand new hospital underway and the acquisition of another in progress, this is a unique opportunity to contribute during a period of significant growth and transformation.
This full‑time, permanent role is based at our Townsville Hospital, with regular time spent across our Pimlico and Hyde Park sites. The role will work closely with, and report to, a Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

Salary range: $129,394 - $133,248 per annum plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
Working on-site at Mater Private Hospital Townsville across our Hyde Park and Pimlico facilities, you’ll partner closely with senior clinical leaders to deliver people strategies that support high-quality care and operational excellence. Reporting to and working alongside a highly experienced Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in embedding practical, outcomes-driven HR solutions within a complex healthcare environment.
No two days will be the same, you’ll be influencing and coaching senior leaders, navigating complex people matters, and contributing to organisational change, all while ensuring HR delivers tangible value directly at the frontline of care.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
