Position Details:
As part of the Human Resources team, you will report to the Human Resources Operations Manager and support the efficient operation of the HR department, with responsibilities spanning onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration support, training coordination, compliance activities, and HR data management. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting daily HR operations, enhancing the employee experience, and contributing to broader HR initiatives.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position based in our New York City headquarters. The position follows a hybrid work arrangement and requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor.
You Will:
Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and offboarding processes, including offer letter generation, background checks, new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, ensuring a seamless transition for incoming and departing employees, interns, externs, and volunteers.
Share in the management of the Human Resources Inbox and provide HR policy guidance. Ensure comprehensive responses and escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team member while ensuring resolution.
Maintain HR records and compliance documentation on paper and in the HRIS system, including I-9 verification, offer letters, and policy acknowledgments.
Audit and process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and submission within our check request system.
Support HR reporting for key metrics and support ad hoc reporting requests by gathering and analyzing data to meet organizational needs.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree, a degree in Human Resources, Communications, or English or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience working in Human Resources or related field.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Prior experience with an HRIS
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters; must be able to operate with professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and possess sound decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups.
Should be organized, resourceful and detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload.
Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
Takes initiative in addressing needs and completing tasks.
Works well within a team and supports colleagues.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
