Job Description

Babcock is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join the People Services team based in Devonport, Auckland.

About the role

Join Babcock New Zealand as a Human Resources Administrator and become a key part of our People Services team. You’ll be at the centre of the employee experience, coordinating everything from contracts and onboarding through to employee changes and exits, while providing responsive support to employees and managers across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to build broad HR experience within a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll develop your knowledge of HR policies and processes, work with SuccessFactors, maintain accurate people data and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that make our HR services even better.

About you

You are an organised and people-focused administrator who enjoys delivering accurate, responsive support in a busy environment. You bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with employees and managers at all levels. You are comfortable managing confidential information, maintaining HR systems and balancing competing priorities. Ideally, you have experience within HR or people administration and an interest in developing your HR career while contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused team where continuous improvement is genuinely encouraged.

Key Required Qualifications

  • Relevant Human Resources qualification or equivalent experience
  • Tertiary study in Human Resources, completed or underway
  • Relevant Business or People Management qualification
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a NZ Defence Security Clearance
