POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Admin is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR Manager. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Training, Performance Management, Policy Implementation, Benefits Administration, and Employment Law compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Administer various human resource plans and procedures for company personnel.
· Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
· Support recruitment efforts for all levels of staff.
· Manage and support the onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
· Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
· Support the company in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Assist in performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
· Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
· Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of HR experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Certifications:
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with minimal travel for training or incident investigations.
- May require extended hours during peak periods.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 10 – 15 pounds at a time.
