The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is a cross functional position that oversees the daily administrative, supportive and reporting functions of the office. This position provides friendly and responsive customer service, professionally greeting all visitors to the office and answering the departments main phone line. The HR Administrative Assistant also handles all Employment and Unemployment verifications for Sedgwick County, and acts as a point of contact for departments with questions about completing reference checks for other organizations. This position regularly works with highly confidential information.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience providing customer service or administrative support in an office setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
