
The HR Specialist shall provide proactive support to the HR Management team in the administration and proper maintenance of associate records and HRMS on a day-to-day basis and related human resource work relating to hiring, recruitment, training, compensation, promotion, termination, career development and/or retirement.
This position will be the first point of contact for Europe & Pakistan associates in operational HR matters.
He/she should also be aware and be kept abreast of the best market practices and updated with employment legislation to ensure Company HR practices are in compliance and work with their manager to update and maintain these policies
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources
Maintains HRMS and leave records for Europe and Pakistan
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning associate-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, opinion surveys, absenteeism rates and terminations.
Ensure accurate and tracking of staff movement records, leave records as well as managing contents for employment documents.
Administer and keep information on benefits and compensation packages up-to-date.
Maintains company organization charts and any ad hoc reports as required by internal stakeholders.
First point of contact in advising HR operational matters
Administer employee recognition and staff engagement activities.
Work with the Global HR team in updating the HR policy manuals and employee handbooks and ensure compliance with changing or new legislations.
Support HR Manager in remuneration changes, performance management, talent management and other human resources processes and programs.
Assist in facilitating new employee orientation program and other educational and training programs on changes in benefits, diversity, etc. to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
As part of the Global HR team, participate and support initiatives and projects
Provide support on administrative tasks in the Istanbul office
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the HR field.
Possess a good understanding of the Local Employment Act and practices.
Has high standard of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Solid commitment to customers or employee service.
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
Experience in Oracle HRIS will be nice to have.
Organized, with attention to detail and proficiency with numbers.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with associates and parties inside and outside of the company.
