As a Human Resource Operations Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing the people lifecycle and day-to-day operational tasks related to employee management. This includes activities such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, and compliance with labor laws. You will be a primary HR point of contact, resolving inquiries and issues, and supporting HR processes to run smoothly within our HR Managed Services practice.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and enhancing your skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is unclear. This role requires you to respond effectively to diverse perspectives and use critical thinking to break down complex concepts.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will be part of a team of problem solvers, helping to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will uphold professional standards and contribute to the broader objectives of your projects, using reflection to develop self-awareness and address development areas.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record-keeping
  • Coordinating payroll and benefits administration to support workforce needs
  • Handling employee inquiries and issues, escalating or routing them as necessary
  • Administering compliance with labor laws and regulations within HR operations
  • Utilizing HR software to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
  • Supporting employee engagement strategies and fostering a positive work environment
  • Implementing process improvements to optimize HR operations and service delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to address complex business issues from strategy to execution
  • Maintaining confidentiality and integrity of employee data and information
  • Analyzing HR metrics to inform insights and recommendations for business improvement

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 to 8 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
  • ⁠3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll, shared services, data management and related business processes.

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Measurement, Data Science, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, or a related field
  • Demonstrating proficiency in HR Software and Employee Data Management
  • Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights
  • Embracing change and adapting to evolving business contexts
  • Coordinating staff and managing employee life cycle processes
  • Engaging in stakeholder communications and conflict resolution
  • Applying creativity to process improvement and documentation administration
  • Experience in the following: HR Shared Services, Employee Data Management, Employee Lifecycle Changes, Personal Information Updates, Compensation/Pay Changes, Assignment Changes, Data Validation, Documentation Review, Payroll Status Changes, Leave Administration, Employee Case Management, Employee Request Handling, Leave Audits, ePas Transactions, Email/Voice Mailbox Management, and HR Transactions
