About the Role
Reporting directly to firm leadership, the HR Manager will lead all aspects of Human Resources while developing and executing people strategies that support the firm's continued growth. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to attorneys and leadership, ensuring compliance, strengthening employee engagement, and creating scalable HR processes that support a collaborative and high-performing culture.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves to manage day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives and long-term growth.
Partner with firm leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent development.
Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead performance management programs, employee development initiatives, and leadership training.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
Oversee HR policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
Provide oversight of recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
Evaluate and improve HR systems, processes, and technology to support continued growth.
Lead employee engagement, culture-building, and change management initiatives.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including advising managers and leading HR initiatives.
Strong knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania employment laws and employee relations.
Demonstrated success in performance management, HR policy development, and organizational planning.
Experience supporting a professional services organization or law firm is strongly preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
