Provides general expertise to management on all areas of HR, or may be responsible for select functions within HR including employment, planning, and development. May also be responsible for training and new employee orientation. Duties may include promotion of good employee relations, development of training, safety, and health programs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensures 100% safety compliance
- Helps support building a strong team that is cross functional across all Departments
- “Leads by example” and maintains a strong professional demeanor at all times and always possess a “Can do attitude”
- Coordinates with other departments to meet objectives and to satisfy the customer
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan and monitor the program to ensure internal equity.
- Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs.
- Writes directives and consults with department managers on company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Coordinates with third party administrators regarding workers compensation, medical, dental, and life insurance.
- Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies and employment activity comply with federal and state law.
- Develops and maintains a human resources information system that meets top management needs.
- Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by federal, state, or local laws, or other departments in the organization.
- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Conducts exit interviews to determine reason behind separations.
- Participates in safety meetings in an advisory role
- Approves all Personnel Change Notices within the plant
- Make recommendations to corporate officers regarding human resources polices and practices.
- Coordinates public relations activities in the community, employee recognition programs, company picnics and other special events.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ Human Resources experience as a Manager or Generalist
- Experience working in human resources in a manufacturing environment
- All required WilbertU Courses based on job title

Salary range: $80k-$100K annually
