The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) is responsible for ensuring the recruiting process aligns with the business objectives in respective departments. This includes activities that support LiveOnNY hiring process, total rewards and onboarding program and maintains the recruiting files in ATS and responsible for document management of personnel records.
In this position, you will collaborate with the HR team members and business groups to deliver value-added services.
Human Resources Generalist are expected to use prior experience and expertise to contribute to process improvement and business workflows. The role supports and fosters the mission of the organization and its commitment to organ and tissue donation.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Conducts weekly talent strategy meetings with respective business departments to align on business needs and objectives.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of four years human resources generalist experience or Bachelor’s degree and two-year human resources generalist experience, including 1-2 years recruiting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, judgment skills and employment law knowledge required. Basic knowledge of human resources principles and practices required. An ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of personnel work and convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees. Computer literacy (Word, Excel) and familiarity with payroll procedures needed.
Preferred:
Master's degree preferred.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common journals and documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write simple communications and documents. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers, the general public and management.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Salary Range: $85,000.00/Yr. - $95,000.00/Yr.
