A Day in the Life
The People Experience (HR Generalist) is an essential member of our People Experience (HR) department . They will have a wide range of human resources duties as it relates to policies, processes, procedures, and programs. They will also proactively identify top talent to fill positions, negotiate and close offers, prepare for talent onboarding, and provide guidance to leaders on how to identify talent. This is an on-site role.

The following schedule is available for this role:
Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
Starting Pay:
$67,500 - $75,000 annually (DOE)

All About You
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Acts as first point of contact for team members as it relates to the employment life cycle.
- Provides direction, problem solving and coaching to managers and supervisors on various team member issues.
- Consults with management on engagement and performance management related activities.
- Manages all Leaves (State, Federal and Company specific)
- Experience using social media and job board sites for sourcing; tools include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook and Diversity oriented sites.
- Experience in a role where strong attention to detail, being resourceful, working multiple projects and competing demands are the norm.
- Investigates complaints; prepare findings and resolutions for review by PE Manager.
- Excellent consultative, presentation skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
- Professionalism, with ability to maintain confidential information and a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
- Trustworthy and moral character (we use pre-employment background & drug tests)
What We Prefer:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related field
- PHR/SHRM certification
- 12+ months experience as a HR Generalist, warehouse/logistics environment a plus
The Must Haves:
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of FMLA and any other Federal & State leave laws
- Strong knowledge and experience managing accommodations under the ADA
- Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
- Manages recruitment activities; screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone, virtual or in person), set up interviews with hiring managers, make offers and coordinate pre-screening.
- Coordinates and facilitates new-hire orientation and maintains accurate and up to date employee personnel files.
- Works in partnership with management on various employment matters including performance management issues, employee inquiries or complaints, conduct investigations and processes terminations.
- Maintain required documentation, including electronic documentation, supporting affirmative action, leaves of absence, attendance, vacation, and positive performance.
- Conducts open enrollment and administers benefit program for employees.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all activities and records.
- Drives Employee Engagement activities in partnership with Operational leaders
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Conducts internal investigations
