As the Human Resource Director at International SOS (Phils.), Inc, you will lead and oversee all strategic and operational human resource initiatives across the Manila site. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the HR vision aligned with our company goals and the dynamic needs of our healthcare services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier healthcare and administrative professionals.
  • Leading the design and execution of employee engagement programs that foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • Overseeing performance management systems, ensuring goal alignment, continuous feedback, and professional development opportunities for all staff.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to align human resource strategies with long-term business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to local labor laws and international employment standards, mitigating risks through effective policy formulation and enforcement.
  • Directing organizational development initiatives including leadership development, succession planning, and workforce planning to sustain business growth.
  • Managing compensation and benefits programs competitively to maintain employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Providing expert guidance and coaching to management and employees on complex HR issues, conflict resolution, and change management processes.
  • Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts throughout the workforce, promoting a culture where all employees feel valued and empowered.
  • Leading HR digital transformation efforts to improve process efficiencies and data-driven decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and recruitment agencies.

About the Role and Candidate Profile

This leadership position requires a seasoned Human Resource professional with extensive experience in the healthcare or related industry, ideally within multinational or complex organizational structures. The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a multifunctional HR department, drive organizational change, and influence at all levels from executives to frontline managers.
  • Deep Knowledge of Medical Sector HR Operations: Understanding of specific challenges and workforce needs in medical services, including compliance, credentialing, and retention of clinical staff.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, present complex ideas clearly, and negotiate with influence and diplomacy.
  • Commitment to People Development: Passion for fostering talent through coaching, mentoring, and structured development programs that support employee career growth and organizational succession.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven Approach: Experience leveraging HR metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and demonstrate impact.
  • Adaptability and Cultural Sensitivity: Proven ability to work within diverse cultural environments and navigate the complexities of an international workforce.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are highly desirable.
