This is a full-time, on-site position at our beautiful facility.

What You'll Do

As our HR/Payroll Coordinator, you'll be a trusted resource for our employees throughout their journey—from onboarding through payroll, benefits, and day-to-day HR support. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure our team members are paid accurately, supported professionally, and treated with care.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll weekly and bi-weekly accurately and on schedule.

  • Maintain records for electronic timekeeping and resolve payroll discrepancies.

  • Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required background checks.

  • Maintain files ensuring confidential personnel data complies with state and federal regulations.

  • Administer benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.

  • Track compliance for leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and employee documentation.

  • Serve as contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.

  • Assist with reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.

  • Foster culture to help create a positive, welcoming workplace for all employees.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is organized, approachable, dependable, and enjoys supporting others.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of payroll and human resources experience.

  • Industry: Healthcare, skilled nursing, or post-acute experience is preferred.

  • Systems: Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems ( Workday experience is highly preferred).

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of California labor laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations.

  • Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Traits: High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
