Job Description

The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Human Resources Clerk. The successful candidate for this position will report to the Human Resources and Health & Safety Manager and will be responsible for handling all human resources administrative duties in a busy manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hourly Time and Attendance Records
  • WSIB, including completion of Form 7 & Form 9, follow-up, and inquiries to and from the Board.
  • Benefit claims processing, including liaison with carrier and completion of benefit billings.
  • Answering inquiries re: hourly staff, TPTs and students.
  • Overtime reports; input and posting.
  • Processing employee L.O.A.’s and vacation.
  • All hourly personnel file maintenance.
  • Typing and filing as required.
  • Preparation of payroll data to be sent to accounting.
  • Shift rotation scheduling.
  • Preparation of departmental reports.
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly newsletter, after receiving information from the Human Resources Manager.
  • Set up of employment interviews.
  • Prepare commencement of employment packages for TPTs and new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned which may include assisting or filling in for employees in other departments.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Strong Clerical and typing skills (Office Admin Courses / Diploma an asset)
  • Experience working with personal computers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Confidentiality kept in all aspects of the job

Wage Range $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
