Human Resources Business Partner / HR Generalist

Location: Oregon Market (Hybrid)
Schedule: On-site 4 days/week at assigned facilities
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 annually (DOE)

About the Role

Volare Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner / HR Generalist to support multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the Oregon market. This hybrid role blends strategic HR partnership with hands-on HR operations and compliance support in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with facility and senior leadership on employee relations, performance management, and compliance

  • Lead workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary review

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and CBAs

  • Conduct HR audits (personnel files, I-9s, training, background checks)

  • Support HR operations including ADP reporting, data accuracy, PTO tracking, and job descriptions

  • Collaborate with Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll teams

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, training, and culture efforts

  • Travel regularly to assigned facilities for on-site HR support

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience; healthcare or long-term care experience required

  • Experience working with unions and understanding of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment law

  • ADP experience required; HRIS proficiency preferred

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • SHRM/HRCI certification preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a multi-site, 24/7 healthcare environment
