Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in an HR role, with demonstrated success in recruitment and training program execution.

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, talent development, and organizational development.

of Major Duties
1. Strategic Partnership
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Collaborate with managers to develop HR strategies and programs that are aligned with business objectives.
• Business leaders receive proactive, accurate HR guidance.
• Change management, organizational development, and culture initiatives are effectively supported.
• Training and development strategies are embedded into business planning across departments.
2. Talent Management, Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Workforce planning sessions are conducted to identify current and future talent needs.
• Recruitment strategies actively support the attraction and retention of high-performing talent.
• All recruitment activities including interviewing, assessments, selection, reference checks, and onboarding are executed consistently and professionally.
• Recruitment timelines are met, and candidate pools remain strong.
• Casual, permanent, contract, and part-time hires are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure that all new hire contracts are signed and approved by the Human Resource Manager.
• Career planning sessions are conducted for unsuccessful internal candidates.
• Regret letters are issued within one (1) week of unsuccessful interview.
3. Training & Development
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Training needs analyses are conducted in partnership with business leaders.
• Annual training plans are developed, implemented, and monitored for completion.
• All new employees receive comprehensive and engaging orientation.
• In-house and external training programs are coordinated, facilitated and tracked.
• Career coaching, development planning, and succession planning activities are actively supported.
• Training outcomes are evaluated and reported with recommendations for improvement.
4. Uniforms & PPE Management
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Support the HR Assistant to ensure uniform and PPE issuance and documentation comply with company policy.
• Assist the HR Assistant in completing annual and ad hoc uniform orders accurately and on schedule.
5. Conducts Site Visits
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Business units are visited according to schedule.
• Site visit reports are completed and distributed promptly to the Operations and Human Resource Managers.
• Attend location monthly meetings as requested.
6. Performance Management Coordination
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Performance management processes (goal setting, check-ins, reviews) are adhered to.
• New appraisers are trained to use the company’s performance management model.
• Check-ins and appraisals are reviewed for accuracy and consistency.
• Performance-related reports are submitted on time.
7. Reports
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all HR reports, including:
Monthly headcount and New Hires/Terminations report by the 7th of each month
HR Metrics Report by the 10th of each month
Probationary Forecast report on a fortnightly basis
Vacation Accrual Report on the last day of each month
Recruitment Tracker by the 15th and 30th of each month
Monthly training report by the 10th of each month
8. Employee Relations, Discipline & Grievance Management
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations and providing resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and best practices.
• Provide business leaders with guidance regarding progressive discipline to adequately address situations of misconduct, serious misconduct and under performance.
• Ensure the company policy on discipline and grievance management is adhered to.
• Advise ensuring that discipline is progressive in nature where applicable and that all disciplinary action taken is in keeping with policy and legislation.
• Review and approve disciplinary letters as required.
• Ensure the termination process is adhered to.
9. Vacation Portfolio Management
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Vacation records are accurate.
• Monthly accrual reports are issued with clear identification of excess balances.
• Ensures that a balance reduction plan is implemented and executed by the relevant department head with the aim of reducing the organizations vacation liability to 80% at end of financial year.
10. Health & Safety Compliance
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• All business locations comply with safety legislation and company standards.
• Safety signage, PPE, and incident reporting procedures are maintained.
• Health and safety assessments are completed and documented.
11. Work Environment Standards
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Workspaces are maintained in a clean, professional, and orderly manner.
• Filing systems (electronic and hard copy) are organized and up to date.
12. Participation in HR & Staff Engagement Activities
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Actively supports internal engagement initiatives, newsletters, long service recognition, and wellness activities.
• Change management and employee engagement initiatives are effectively driven.
13. Perform Any Other Related Duties as Assigned by The Human Resource Manager
Satisfactory performance will have been attained when:
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Deputizes for the HR Manager when required.
