The Human factors/Ergonomics Engineer ensures, in project and offer context, the application of internal procedures, instructions and guidelines of the HF/ergonomics discipline and has to be operative on the following activities:
Main responsabilities
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Human Factors / Ergonomics training
Desirable:
- Catia v5, DMA, Human Builder, Human Posture Analysis,
- Virtual reality
Experience
Mandatory:
- Ergonomics and Human factors skills: postural and cognitive analysis
- Use of Simulation
Desirable:
- Virtual reality tools
- Sherpa method
- Nasa-TLX
Competencies & Skills
- Methodologies for ergonomics: tasks analysis (HTA), questionnaire definition, interview, synthesis, RULA, REBA
- Workload analysis (NASA-TLX), Human error (Sherpa), Human reliability analysis (for example THERP, HEART, ..)
- Standard & regulation: TSI, UIC 651, 612, EN 16186, ISO 9241
- Communication skills at least in English and if possible, in French
