In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team delivering expert Human Factors advice, research, analysis and integration to improve safety outcomes and support Human Factors system integration across Transport for NSW.

This role will see you providing specialist Human Factors input, undertaking research and analysis, preparing documentation for hazard/risk workshops, drafting technical reports, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of Human Factors integration requirements.

You will collaborate to influence improved safety outcomes, strengthen Human Factors integration, and support consistent, contemporary Human Factors practice in a complex operating environment requiring strong stakeholder engagement and practical application of Human Factors strategies.

About you

  • Your experience applying Human Factors and ergonomics techniques, and your understanding of system design and human performance help you work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • You bring experience from complex operating environments and Human Factors related roles.
  • You are well equipped to stay current with Human Factors methods, implement practical strategies, and build strong working relationships.
  • You are recognised as ethical, collaborative and accountable.
  • You are skilled in researching, analysing and communicating Human Factors insights.
  • You have experience supporting Human Factors integration, preparing technical documentation and contributing to safety focused project outcomes.
