Bajo supervisión directa, se capacita y se familiariza con el plan de higiene química y las normas de seguridad de laboratorio HSE vigentes. Sigue las normas y reglamentos de seguridad establecidos al realizar las tareas asignadas. Aplica teorías, principios y prácticas a la investigación y el desarrollo de productos, procesos y procedimientos nuevos y mejorados. Realiza investigación y experimentación de rutina bajo la dirección del Líder Científico, el Asesor Científico y los Jefes de Equipo. Documenta el progreso en cuadernos de laboratorio, informes, procedimientos y diseños. Se comunica ocasionalmente con el personal técnico del cliente. Responde a las necesidades de los clientes según las indicaciones del Líder Científico, el Asesor Científico y los Jefes de Equipo. Participa en sociedades profesionales. Las tareas laborales, realizadas correctamente, impactan indirectamente en la contención de costos, la eficiencia, la rentabilidad o las operaciones. Las consecuencias de los errores son fácilmente medibles y pueden limitarse. Requiere diploma profesional y tarjeta profesional.
