All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.

This pro bono/unpaid position oversees the sourcing and recruiting function at JerseySTEM This position has the opportunity to scale a team of Recruiters to support the JerseySTEM’s mission, and have the opportunity to bring creative ideas to develop recruiting programs and streamline processes associated with the entire recruitment function.
Please note: This is an unpaid, pro-bono position. You are applying to become a Member of the JerseySTEM organization, a network of professionals contributing their time and skills to promote access to STEM education to underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. The minimum duration of membership is 6 months. If after interviewing you are admitted to join JerseySTEM and chose to move forward, you will be required to make a refundable deposti of $100 USD that you can recoup at the end of the intial 6 months term.

We are dedicated to partnering with local schools and other organizations to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities as part of students' paths towards college and career readiness, and to develop effective STEM programs and initiatives that engage students and educators. JerseySTEM is also committed to bridging the gender gap in STEM education and sharing STEM-related opportunities with underprivileged students and communities.
