He aha te tūranga - About the role:

We are looking for a manager to have day to day oversight of the Christchurch Ambulance Make Ready Hub located in the Christchurch CBD. This role is instrumental in supporting the delivery of Ambulance services in the Christchurch Metro Area and providing support to the Canterbury District with a focus on Ambulance Operations.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with a proven track record and passion to succeed and drive improvement. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, however out of hours work may be required for a significant event.

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

  • Can lead and manage a team of shift-based operational resource staff and promote a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace
  • Has experience in the coordination of fleet including scheduled/unscheduled servicing, fleet rotation and tracking
  • Has experience in the coordination of logistics including purchasing, stocktake and equipment maintenance
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to effectively prioritise tasks and liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Ensures work is completed to a high standard to maintain a safe, hygienic, and functional working environment for our ambulance crews and their patients.
