Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in City of Westminster to assist with the appointment of a Hub Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £22.57 - £29.77 per hour

The Hub Manager role is a hands-on, predominantly on-site leadership role at the heart of a vibrant community space, supporting residents, partners, volunteers, and frontline services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the hub operates safely, effectively, and inclusively while delivering activities and services that reflect local community needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Rampayne Street Community Hub as the senior on-site manager.
  • Ensure the hub operates safely and in compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and deliver an engaging programme of community activities aligned to local priorities and resident needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, voluntary organisations, community groups, and council services.
  • Line manage two staff members and support volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Oversee the operational management of the building and community facilities.

Essentials

  • Experience working within a community hub, community centre, or similar public-facing environment.
  • Experience in operational management, including safeguarding, budgeting, and health & safety compliance.
  • Previous experience supervising staff and supporting volunteers.
  • Proven ability to engage with local communities and develop effective partnerships.
  • Ability to design and deliver inclusive community programmes and activities.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
