As HUB Europe SCM Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and driving supply chain excellence across the region. You will lead a large organization of more than 100 supply chain professionals and oversee an annual spend of approximately USD 1.3 billion, ensuring the highest standards in sourcing, supplier performance, sustainability, and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead and execute HUB sourcing and spend management strategies in alignment with global SCM objectives.
  • Drive supply chain performance across the region, ensuring optimal cost, quality, delivery, and supplier reliability.
  • Sponsor and support Global and Regional Category Teams while fostering strong collaboration across engineering, project execution, and supply chain functions.
  • Deliver annual targets related to cost reduction, supplier quality, delivery performance, sustainability, and material compliance.
  • Establish transparent stakeholder communication and drive standardization of SCM processes and best practices.
  • Promote full utilization of digital SCM tools to increase efficiency, scalability, and global synergies.
  • Ensure implementation of Hitachi Energy's sustainability standards, Supplier Code of Conduct, and supplier audit programs.
  • Develop organizational capability through talent management, succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain leadership experience in an industrial and project-driven environment (EPC).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Technical understanding of power transmission and distribution technologies is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed, and multicultural teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • International business experience with demonstrated ability to influence across complex organizations.

The minimum salary for this position in specified location:

  • Italy: starting from 89,600EUR gross annual salary

The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
