At Timpson, we are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Hub Colleague to join our busy Thetford Dry Cleaning Hub, with a primary focus on our laundry operations.

Position: Hub Colleague (Maternity Cover)

Location: Thetford Dry Cleaning Hub

Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week with potential overtime available

Start Date: Immediate start available for the right candidate

About the Role

As a Hub Colleague, you will play an important role in ensuring garments and laundry items are processed efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll help maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the hub.

Full training will be provided, so previous laundry or dry cleaning experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing laundry items safely and efficiently.
• Operating commercial laundry machinery and equipment.
• Sorting, preparing, finishing and packaging customer items.
• Booking orders in and out using company systems.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure all items meet Timpson standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Supporting colleagues across the hub to meet daily productivity targets.
• Answering occasional telephone enquiries and communicating professionally with colleagues and customers.
