Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and industry best practices.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental impact evaluations.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Deliver HSSE training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with government authorities, emergency services, and third-party auditors.
  • Manage site security protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Prepare and present HSSE performance reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture and environmental stewardship.
  • Oversee waste management, pollution control, and sustainability programs.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC / Diploma or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 15–20 years of HSSE experience in Oil & Gas and/or Power Energy sectors.
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-site or large-scale projects.
  • Experience with incident command systems and emergency preparedness.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Certification in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 lead auditing.
  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems.
  • Proficiency in HSSE software and reporting tools.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Arabic, English, etc.)
