Loss Prevention Specialist (Security Guard)
Schedule: Mon - Fri: 6:30 am - 3 pm
This role is considered safety sensitive
The HSS (Health, Safety & Security) Administrative Assistant supports the HSS Department, reporting to the Safety Manager. This is a non-exempt position available at all Ashley locations, focused on administrative support for safety operations.
Responsibilities

Safety Training Management- Maintain training databases for supervisors and employees, schedule training sessions, and distribute monthly safety information

Injury & Incident Tracking- Manage injury databases, create statistical reports and charts, and submit reports to departments and government agencies

PIV Training Administration- Enter and update Powered Industrial Vehicle certification data, file training records, and send recertification reminders

Customer Service- Support employees, visitors, and management; order supplies and handle clerical duties

Budget Management- Process HSS department charges, analyze budget records, and assist with annual budget preparation

First Aid & Drug Testing- Administer minor first aid treatment and drug testing when needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
Associate degree in Business or equivalent work experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required

3 years of clerical experience
Certifications:
-
First-Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
-
CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Work Environment:
This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
