DP World, the fast-growing transportation and logistics leader that currently manages more than 10% of world trade, is thrilled to announce a new Contract Logistics launch in Topoľčany, Slovakia!

Join us in shaping a new Contract Logistics site where Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) come first. As HSEQ Supervisor, you will help establish a strong culture of safe, compliant, and customer-focused operations from day one.

You will ensure that customer Quality and EHS requirements are effectively translated into site processes and consistently implemented in line with agreed solutions. Working closely with site leadership and internal teams, you will support the launch and ongoing delivery of DP World’s HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards, while ensuring compliance with ISO certifications, applicable legislation, customer expectations, and company requirements.

Salary range: 25.590 – 40.256 Euro per year*​

Your Responsibilities:

HSEQ Leadership and Governance

• Leading the implementation of the site HSEQ strategy in alignment with regional and global frameworks.
• Aligning site practices with company policies, customer requirements, ISO standards, and applicable local legislation.
• Advising site leadership on risk ownership, operational discipline, and the consistent application of HSEQ expectations.
• Fostering an inclusive HSEQ culture that places safety, environmental responsibility, and quality excellence at the heart of daily operations.
  

Safety and Risk Management

• Implementing critical risk controls, life-saving rules, and high-risk work programmes, including Control of Work.
• Supporting operational teams in identifying, assessing, and effectively mitigating workplace risks.
• Leading incident investigations through robust root-cause analysis, accurate reporting, and timely closure of corrective actions.
• Monitoring site performance against safety KPIs and drive targeted initiatives to strengthen performance and prevent recurrence.
  

Operational Assurance and Compliance

• Conducting HSEQ audits, inspections, assurance activities, and compliance reviews across the site.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, relevant legislation, customer expectations, and company standards.
• Supporting the implementation and adoption of HSEQ systems, tools, and digital platforms throughout site operations.
• Maintaining accurate HSEQ documentation, effective controls, and robust management systems that support operational readiness.
  

Environmental and Sustainability Management

• Implementing site priorities relating to decarbonisation, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and responsible resource use.
• Overseeing the accurate collection, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of environmental performance data.
• Supporting compliance with environmental legislation and the achievement of internal sustainability objectives.
  

Your Profile:

• A higher education background, particularly in Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, or Environmental Protection, would be highly valued.
• Obtained certifications as Fire Protection Technician and Safety Technician authorized as per Slovak legislation.
• Solid understanding of current legislation and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental protection.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ management systems and applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrable experience in incident investigation, risk management, and operational assurance at site level.
• Familiarity with ISO standards would be highly valued.
• Experience with managing and maintaining documentation in a structured and compliant manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Slovak and a minimum fluency level of B1+ in the English language.
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking – Uses data, evidence, and structured root-cause analysis to identify risks, resolve challenges, and deliver sustainable improvements.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication – Builds trusted relationships and constructively influences site leadership, operational teams, customers, regulators, and external partners.
• Inclusive leadership and coaching – Engages, develops, and empowers colleagues through clear guidance, practical coaching, and role-modelling of high HSEQ standards.
• Continuous-improvement orientation – Actively identifies opportunities to strengthen processes, improve performance, share best practices, and embed learning across the site.
• Resilience and adaptability – Remains calm, constructive, and effective in a fast-paced site-launch environment, responding confidently to changing priorities, operational challenges, and emerging risks.
