About this opportunity
Join us as our next HSEQ Coordinator and take a hands‑on role in shaping a strong safety and quality culture across our Tasmanian sites. We’re looking for someone who understands management systems, connects easily with people, and brings a grounded, practical mindset to HSEQ. This isn’t a clipboard‑and‑compliance job; you’ll be out in the field, partnering with teams, building capability, and helping ensure safe, compliant work is simply how we operate.
Reporting to the Head of HSEQ & Compliance, you’ll provide day‑to‑day support across your designated locations, contribute to the ongoing health of our Integrated Management System, and play a key role in helping the business meet its HSEQ and regulatory obligations. Your work will directly influence how our teams think, act and deliver; making you a visible, trusted driver of safe, high‑quality performance.

About us
Benmax has been family-owned and operated since 1986, built on a simple idea: do the right thing, deliver quality work, and treat people like family. With 200+ people in-house across Australia, we've grown into one of Australia's most trusted mechanical services and HVAC businesses, taking on some seriously complex projects along the way.
What hasn't changed is the culture. We back our people, we follow through on our commitments, and we don't shy away from difficult work. Safety is central to how we operate, and the HSEQ team plays a real part in making sure we do right by everyone on site and in the office.
If you want to work somewhere your work matters and your expertise is taken seriously, Benmax is worth a look.
