The opportunity:

We are looking for a Regional Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) specialist to join our HUB Europe HSE Team for our Transformers Business Unit!

In this role, you will provide essential support to European Geographical Areas (HUB) and Local Operating Units, focusing on HSE including strategic programs and continuous improvement.

We are considering different locations for this role: Portugal (Oeiras, Porto), Spain (Cordoba, Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza), Italy (Monselice & Milano) or others across Europe.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Provide support to the different Business Units on a Local and Regional scale in HSE Programs.

  • Monitor and report on Business Unit processes support HUBs in implementing and improving HSE Management System, and KPIs.

  • Coordinate, deploy, and follow up on HSE Strategic Plans, proposing improvements.

  • Implement and monitor HSE Management System and HSE Strategic Improvement Programs and corrective actions.

  • Ensure an efficient level of HSE qualifications in each factory to meet existing and future capacity requirements, in line with the HSE Strategic programs.

  • Support preparation for and during Internal and External HSE Audits, following up on NCRs resolution.

  • Coordinate the use of IT systems to support HSE Strategic Development processes.

  • Evaluate HUB EUC progress in HSE Strategic programs and targets compliance.

  • Support HUB in learning from past incidents and implementing corrective actions from TRI and HPI investigations.

  • Improve and sustain HSE processes, documents, and other necessary elements.

Your background:

  • University Degree: Occupational Safety and Health (required) or similar.

  • Over 6 years of relevant experience as an HSE professional, preferably with international operations support and over 4 years, in HSE strategic plans and campaigns.

  • Experience in HSE roles within Servicing, Manufacturing, Testing, and HSE management and administration.

  • Experience with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 50001:2018 standards, and HSE reporting and KPIs.

  • Willingness to travel regional & globally (10-20% time).

  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
