The opportunity
High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) is a key enabler for a carbon-neutral energy system. It allows efficient transmission of large amounts of electricity over long distances, supports the integration of renewable energy, and enables the interconnection of power grids worldwide.
By joining the HVDC team in Germany (DEHVDC), you will actively contribute to the energy transition in Germany and globally, supporting the development of sustainable transmission solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
Support tender activities by identifying, assessing, and integrating HSE requirements into tender documentation
Ensure HSE risks, mitigation measures, and cost aspects are properly evaluated during the tender phase
Drive HSE performance throughout service project execution in line with internal policies and external regulations
Monitor HSE compliance and proactively support project teams during service delivery
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions
Collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to promote a strong HSE culture
Support HSE training, onboarding, and awareness initiatives across service operations
Contribute to continuous improvement through audits, lessons learned, and improvement initiatives
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles within service, construction, or industrial project environments
Strong experience or solid knowledge of electrical safety preferred
Very good understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Experience conducting risk assessments and supporting incident investigations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across different stakeholder levels
Fluency in English and German written and spoken
