Job Description

Hire a skilled HSE professional for the Beaumont location.

• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.

• Maintain relevant HSE logs.

• Maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 documentations.

• Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.

• Prepare applicable HSE reports a necessary.

• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.

• Participate in detailed incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.

• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.

• Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.

• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

• Manage environmental waste, wastewater, storm water, SARA reports, etc..

• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or certified training in HSE field preferred.

• A minimum of 5+ years of HSE experience required.

• Must have a working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI, etc.) applicable to the manufacturing industry.

• Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001 standards

• Excellent oral and presentation skills required.

• First aid, CPR and AED trainer preferred.

• Good analysis and reporting skills required.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Strong computer skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products

• Spanish Bi-lingual preferred.
