HSE Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive specialist with solid expertise in HSE.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

Educational Background:

  • Completed HSE studies or equivalent qualification, such as certification.

Language Proficiency:

  • Business fluent in spoken and written English.

Personal Attributes:

  • Team-oriented, structured, and solution-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to continues improvement of working environment and safety.

Responsibilities

  • performing the duties of a Health & Safety technician and Fire Protection (FP)
  • monitoring legislative changes and responsibility for their implementation
  • creating regulations, directives, and other documents for the OHS and FP area in accordance with legislation and global standards
  • conducting OHS risk assessments and proposing corrective measures
  • delivering OHS and FP trainings
  • implementing and monitoring compliance with OHS, FP, and environmental principles, laws, and rules
  • performing internal OHS, FP, and environmental audits within the company
  • investigating accidents, extraordinary events, and other incidents, cooperating in determining root causes
  • verifying whether new machines or equipment meet OHS and FP legislative requirements, approving their use from an OHS and FP standpoint, and verifying their safe operation
  • active participation in external and internal audits and inspections
  • coordinating local HSE projects
  • cooperation on safety matters at the Bratislava branch (occasional business trips)
  • monitoring KPIs and implementing actions
  • contributing to the preparation of strategic plans for the HSE department
