HSE Senior Engineer
Drive continuous improvement to achieve Total Incident Rate (TIR), Lost Severity Rate, and reduction of recordable incidents, near misses, and first aids through prevention campaigns, safety gemba walks, and incident investigations.
Develop and execute EHS strategies to meet policy deployment objectives and EHS KPIs, including monthly KPI tracking, analysis, and action plans for safety and environmental performance.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, Autoliv internal standards, and ISO 14001:2015 (phase follow‑up, environmental committee, and management review), and represent the site during government and customer audits.
Lead risk management activities, safety release and buy‑off of new machines and process modifications, high‑risk training programs (LOTO, work at heights, chemical management), and coordination of safety requirements across operations.
Lead sustainability action plans (water, energy, waste), support cross‑functional stakeholders, and actively participate in site risk, environmental, and safety governance forums.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of patrimonial security, risk analysis and evaluation, ergonomics, and high‑risk activities, including LOTO, work at heights, and chemical substance management.
Proven experience with STPS and SEMARNAT legal requirements, as well as international security programs such as CTPAT and OEA, including compliance tracking and audit support.
Certified or experienced in internal audits for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with the ability to support environmental management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
English proficiency is required for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
