Job Description

Greenvolt Power is seeking an HSE Regional Manager who will support the implementation and improving the Safety Standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with international HSE standards, legal regulations, and corporate policies, while providing support to projects across multiple locations.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage the HSE topic for the office work: risk assessment for office, minimum HSE trainings, drills, emergency plan, preventive service and manage the medical checks, others.
  • HSE full time supervision on site for all the construction projects in Romania: WIND projects, PV and BESS.
  • Support the organization to implement the IMS in the business unit.
  • Support the HSE manager and local team selecting good suppliers in HSE in the country or region, ensuring alignment with regional requirements during the Feasibility and Site Assessment phase.
  • Participate in the preliminary and design phase on the meetings with Contractors and suppliers, specifically addressing HSSE aspects during the Origination Permit and Licenses and Basic Project Design stages.
  • Review and validate the Safety Plan/study by project, ensuring its integration with the Budgeting and Financial Planning phase.
  • Implement and write SOPs based on the GVP Process and standards.
  • Lead HSE legal compliance audit, with a focus on compliance across all operational phases, particularly during Detailed Project Design and Commissioning and Quality Assurance.
  • Periodical site visit and inspections, with emphasis during On-site HSE Coordination and Construction Execution.
  • Site visits, audits report, follow action plans, close findings.
  • Accident investigation report and notification.
  • Follow up on all the HSE material/issues in all our countries and provide solutions on the material.
  • Review and collaborate with other departments to improve the Safety culture in our sites and teams in other countries.
  • Ensure the compliance with HSE standards and requirements in the business unit.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in HS Engineering, Master Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or other relevant titles can be considered.
    • Environmental science or engineer can be plus to manage the environmental monitoring plan and waste management.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as HS supervisor or Safety coordinator in Construction sites; Wind and PV project will be a plus.
    • Knowledges and experience working based on the ISO 45001.
    • Professional training in Health & Safety (minimum Level VI preferred).
    • Strong interest in the renewable energy sector.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate with international teams.
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and manage challenging situations.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and risk assessments.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to support different sites and teams.
    • Fluent in English (mandatory); Spanish or other languages are a plus.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally when required.
