  1. Acts as an internal authority to audit operations, inspect plants, and enforce high design standards separate from daily management.
  2. Ensures all projects apply the result of strict risk-assessment tools like HAZID, HAZOP and ATEX compliance done by the Process Engineering group.
  3. Develops and rolls out global programs to guarantee plant reliability, operational integrity, and asset maintainability.
  4. Provides trend analyses, incident investigation reports, and performance metrics to the Group HSE Director.
  5. Drives cross-site training and shares lessons learned from incidents and near-misses to strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

  1. Requires 8+ years of industrial HSE experience to act as an independent authority auditing global Renewable Gas or waste-to-X plants.
  2. Interpretation and implementation of actions from HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ATEX, and DSEAR regulations and risk assessments.
  3. Evaluates multidisciplinary engineering designs using 3D models, P&IDs, and layout assessments to ensure inherent safety.
  4. Manages start-up risks, improves asset reliability, leads major incident investigations, and tracks corporate assurance programs.
  5. Fluent English language, Italian is a plus
