* Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to prevent accidents.
* Develop and enforce safety policies, conduct training programs, and investigate incidents to improve workplace safety
* Ensure that all New Employees, Visitors undergo prescribed induction training according to procedures and impart refresher training to existing employees.
* Carries out issuance of safety gears to employees and keeps record of all safety items issued and delivered. Reports & Initiates requisition procedure when needed.
* Patrol daily on regular basis to check and inspect various installations and locations such as pumps, diesel engines, hydrants, tanks, gas concentrations etc. and ensure that the operational level is in accordance with Company standard and report to safety engineer
* Ensures service ability of portable H2S & Hydro Carbon detectors, Multi Gas Detectors, 4 Runner Gas Detectors. Maintain records of calibration and replenishment
* Assist HSSE Engineer by participates in Job Safety Analysis / Task Risk Assessments and ensures critical activities are performed after completion of Task Risk Assessments. Any deficiency observed shall be reported and appropriate action need to be taken as assigned.
