The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental systems to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. The role involves conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring that all work practices meet NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, and QCS/Ashghal safety standards. The officer will investigate incidents, prepare HSE reports, promote awareness through toolbox talks and safety meetings, and assist in developing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). The candidate must be proactive in ensuring that safety procedures are followed by all employees and subcontractors to prevent accidents and maintain regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum academic qualification: HND/HNC in a related field.
At least 4 years of relevant experience in health and safety roles within the construction or industrial sector.
Professional OHS qualification (NEBOSH IGC/NGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or OSHA).
Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Knowledge of QCS, Ashghal, and international HSE standards
