What will you be doing as a Health and Safety Manager – Harkiv Plant

The core focus of this role is to ensure a company's operations are safe, healthy, and compliant with environmental and legal standards.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Identifying workplace hazards, assessing risks and implementing corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, policies and internal standards.
• Developing and maintaining safety policies, procedures and reporting systems to support operational compliance.
• Investigating incidents, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Delivering safety training programs and promoting a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and awareness initiatives.
• Conducting audits and inspections while overseeing environmental protection activities, including waste management and regulatory compliance.

What you can bring to the role:

• Work experience in similar positions in production for at least 3 years;
• Knowledge of technical safety standards: locking out energy sources, working at height, working in confined spaces, self-propelled equipment, emergency response, lifting equipment, pressure vessels, electrical safety.
• Higher education;
• Practical skills in risk assessment;
• Communication skills;
• Knowledge of English at a level Intermediate
• Knowledge of the basic legislative framework and regulatory legal acts on labor protection, the environment, civil protection, fire and technogenic safety of the enterprise
