Oversee the implementation and enforcement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across all operational areas. Lead and manage the HSE team, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary. Develop and maintain the HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Monitor and analyse HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management review. Participate in emergency response planning and drills and ensure readiness to handle emergencies effectively. Stay abreast of emerging HSE trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's HSE programs. Represent the company in HSE-related meetings, forums, and regulatory inspections.
