Are you passionate about creating a safe and sustainable working environment where people can thrive? As our HSE Manager for PSC Switzerland, you will take full ownership of the Health, Safety, and Environment function and play a key role in shaping a strong safety culture across our organization.
In this position, you will lead and develop the HSE team while acting as the Site Lead Manager (HSE) for our Training Center in Rüti and Service Logistic Center in Dietlikon. You will collaborate closely with leadership, employees, and external partners to ensure the highest health and safety standards, drive continuous improvement, and make a tangible impact on how we protect our people and operations every day.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead HSE function and team for PSC Switzerland and serve as Site Lead Manager (HSE) for Training Center in Rüti and Service Logistic Center in Dietlikon
Ensure strong commitment to health and safety standards, guidelines, management systems, and procedures
Communicate health and safety initiatives, processes, and procedures to ensure uniform understanding across the organization
Monitor compliance with health and safety requirements and handle non-conformances according to established procedures
Assist and guide management, supervisors, and employees in accident prevention and act as an interface with contractors and clients when needed
Implement and maintain the health and safety management system and ensure quality input where necessary
Conduct safety audits, investigate accidents, identify root causes, and supervise corrective actions
Provide guidance on competency-based health and safety training and lead HSE and Sustainability Reviews for Rüti and Dietlikon, ensuring assurance activities are completed
Your background
5+ years of experience in managerial role in industrial company, preferably in HSE, construction or factory environment
Strong leadership personality and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of health and safety in project/customer sites and the role a safety system plays in managing the overall risk profile of a site
Practical “hands-on” experience in developing and managing safety systems with the ability to dig into site-specific details and develop solutions to complex safety issues
Knowledge about OSHA legislation for construction sites and working experience in Safety-related positions
International experience and intercultural sensitivity and Solutions-oriented personality with strong engagement
Proficiency in English (written and oral), German of advantage and any other language is a plus
Approximately 25% Travel required
