HSE Lead, Indonesia

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible person in charge for the country HSE KPI indicators (Health, Safety & Environment); includes Quality management system, legal and all HSE related trainings.

  • Responsible as site/country MR for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Intergrated Management System (IMS).

  • Site incident manager for the site/country responsible for incident reporting, investigation and corrective & preventive actions (CAPAs) & NCR implementation.

  • Secretary for the site/country safety meeting.

  • Site champion towards product stewardship - regulatory and compliance, new product introduction (certification and registration).

  • Responsible for implementation of local HSE standard and local statutory requirements.

  • Site owner for sustainability (environment) projects.

  • Emergency response manager for site as per local requirement.

  • Conduct monthly HSE audits and meetings, monitor and close all actions according to agreed timelines.

  • HSE training manager – drive towards 100% training completion.

  • Support regional SC, engineering projects, continuous Improvement (CI) and PAP savings projects (e.g. BigFoot, Plant expansion, EIA, NPI etc).

System (include internal, external, corporate and customer audit) (20%)

Regulatory Affairs (15%)

Sustainability & Projects (CI, PAP saving and engineering projects) (10%) Factory/ operations (10%)

Process Safety (10%)

Logistic / warehouse safety (10%)

Training (5%)

Required education, experience and job-related skills:

  • Tertiary education with 3 years industrial experience preferably in Paint & Coatings; Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries or practical engineering experience and strong knowledge in hazardous material safe handling and controls

  • Experience in industrial safety and process safety will be an advantage

  • Certified Safety and Health Officer will be an advantage

  • Experience in communicating and familiar with the local government and authority policies, rules and regulations

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and with pleasant personality and good presentation skills
