Reporting to the HSQE Manager, the HSE Intern supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) systems across Nadara’s operational sites. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in environmental management, sustainability initiatives, and safety compliance, while contributing to the company’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities and Authorities

  • Assist in drafting and implementing HSE policies, procedures, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Maintain and improve environmental procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to align HSE requirements.
  • Support the design and delivery of HSE training programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure legal and company-specific HSE compliance.
  • Help manage digital tools for audits, inspections, incident reporting, and HSE data analysis.
  • Participate in internal and external audits of HSEQ systems.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and support emergency planning and drills.
  • Contribute to preventive and corrective action plans, especially for assets environmental impact.

Technical and cross Competences (Optional)

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Office 365 and digital collaboration tool

  • Dynamic, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability and safety.

Education and Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 Management Systems
  • Additional HSQE trainings completed as part of Nadara’s HSQE training matrix
  • English language is required

Travel Requirements (Optional)

  • A valid driving license for light vehicles.
  • Availability to travel as required.
