Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent
HSE / OSH Certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, DOLE OSH, or equivalent)
First Aid & Emergency Response Training
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) functions within construction, infrastructure, dam, or hydropower projects.
Proven experience conducting site safety inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring for contractors and subcontractors
Hands-on experience in hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA/JSA), and implementation of control measures
Experience in monitoring high-risk activities such as:
excavation and earthworks
work at height
lifting operations and heavy equipment
confined space works
concrete works and formwork systems
Demonstrated experience in incident and accident investigation, root cause analysis, and preparation of corrective and preventive action reports
Experience in reviewing and enforcing method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems
Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, codes, and standards
Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Competence in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and Permit-to-Work systems
Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
Familiarity with construction equipment, heavy machinery, confined spaces, and work-at-height safety
