This role sits at the intersection of engineering, compliance, and people. You will collaborate with engineers, operations leaders, and local authorities. Your work will directly reduce risk for colleagues and surrounding communities.

Develop and implement policies to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Assess environmental risks affecting employees and surrounding communities.
Lead investigations of accidents and environmental incidents.
Identify root causes and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Liaise with engineers, management, and health & safety authorities.
Design and deliver safety training programs for all staff levels.
Conduct compliance audits and report findings to leadership.
Monitor regulatory changes and update internal procedures accordingly.
Track safety metrics and present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in environmental or workplace safety roles.
Proven knowledge of local and international safety regulations.
Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Strong communication skills for training and cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in English and the local language of the work location.
