About The Role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to join a prominent organization in the industrial and electrical manufacturing sector. This is an urgent requirement for a permanent placement. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and risk assessments in accordance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification to prevent workplace incidents.
Lead incident investigations (near misses, injuries, and property damage) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Deliver HSE induction programs and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding waste management and pollution control.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and clients regarding HSE performance and documentation.
Monitor the effectiveness of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Mandatory).
Certifications: Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated HSE role, preferably within the manufacturing, switchgear, or heavy industrial sector.
Language: Must be a fluent Arabic Speaker (both written and spoken).
Documentation:

Must possess a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) for transfer of sponsorship.
Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.

Availability: Must be able to join immediately

Compensation & Benefits:

Accommodation: Provided by the company.
Transportation: Provided by the company.
Annual Leave: 30 days of paid annual leave after 12 months of service.
Ticket: Return economy class air ticket to the employee's capital city upon annual leave.
