How you’ll make an impact
1. You willbe responsible forthe implementation and maintenance of theHSE managementsystem(ISO45001,ISO14001 and ISO50001)to ensurecomplianceand effectiveness,leadinternal and external audits.
2. You will c onduct law and regulatory compliance review, manage and resolve any regulatory or legal HSE-related issues. Feedback on lessons learned and best practice fromownunit and acrossHitachi Energyto management and employees. Reports progress on implementation ofHitachi EnergyHSEobjectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) toHitachi EnergyGroup, asrequired
3. You will ensure thatarea ofmanagersunderstand their HSE obligations and liability to fulfil site HSE roles, according to local HSE law and Hitachi Energy Group policy,instructionsand standards.
4. You will facilitate HSE risks assessment by line management, support management team, contractors'employeesandshop floor employees,i.e.those directly concerned by the hazards, ensure all processes are implemented, conduct and lead the basic conceptssuch asrisk assessment and environmental aspects & impact assessment.
5. You will communicate and engagewithcontractors' employees and shop floor employeesto report on, raiseawarenessand gain commitmenttoHSE efforts and performance and obtainobjectivesfeedback to drive HSE performance. You will coach and guide front linestaffto ensurethesafetyculture and prevention activities.
6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a b achelor’s degreein safety, Health, Environment, and electricalengineeringis a plus,withminimumof 5yearsfull timeexperienceinHSE managementin the mechanical manufacturing industry
2. Required withCertified Safety Engineer.
3. Knowledge about workplace risk assessment methodologies and techniques.
4. Proficiencyin both spoken & written English language isrequired
