Your mission

As HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project, promoting a strong safety culture within a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and supervise compliance with the project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plan.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify safe working conditions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate HSE inductions, training sessions, and awareness activities for project personnel.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
  • Maintain updated HSE records, including statistics, incident reports, inspections, and internal audits.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project HSE standards and procedures.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and safety committees, representing the HSE area.
  • Support environmental management activities, including permits, waste management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives related to safety performance and environmental practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Prevention Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in HSE management within construction, industrial, infrastructure, or technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean regulations related to occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Certifications related to risk prevention or safety management (SNS, Sernageomin, or similar) are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and HSE management systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and field coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and fast-paced project environments.
  • Availability to work on-site in Santiago Metropolitan Area.
  • Experience in mission-critical or Data Center projects is highly valued.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish is considered a plus.
